YES let’s get into it!!
So I have some Big Plans in motion right now and I’m so excited to share it all with you when I do muster up the energy to actually start writing again haha but anyways here’s a little sneak peak:
To begin, this all really started because the Dalish hold a special little place in my heart, though as a Native gamer it is difficult sometimes to get behind the elven lore and I have personal beef with the Bioware writers (but who doesn’t? they really have the audacity sometimes).
Because of this, I hit the ground running with analyzing the elven pantheon and how we can change it for the better instead of exploiting the Native trauma that they really have no business writing. So far I have three pieces of writing I will be working on: Elven Pantheon Analysis, the Rewrite, and the Ghilani Bellanaris.
The Elven Pantheon Analysis will focus on specific pieces of the pantheon that I don’t agree with and how it looks through a Native lens, then within the Rewrite I will make new suggestions to the pantheon to make it more exclusive for Native gamers. The Rewrite however will also hint at the canon I have been working on for my lovely Inquisitor Aarod, which then leads into the final piece of writing: The Ghilani Bellanaris.
I’m not going to say much right now about the Ghilani Bellanaris because I’d like it to be kept secret, though expect to start seeing new artwork, comics, and fanfic relating to it soon ;)
But yeah! That’s all I’m going to say now, and I really hope once It’s all written and posted that you can all love and enjoy it as much as I do :))
ALSO I want to give a HUGE shoutout to @maleficarum-regrets because they have to deal with my Aarod ramblings on a daily basis HAHA but also because they’ve been helping me out with mods (and they’re the one who made Aarod’s new vallaslin a reality which I will FOREVER be so grateful for). Not only that but they’ve also been helping me through the dragon age lore and making sure this wild canon idea I have actually makes sense so please please PLEASE give them a follow !!
