Happy Octavius Week, as Octavius is Exhibit #2 of my Exhibit of the Week series where we’ll be highlighting a Night at the Museum Character each week for 20 weeks straight in honor of Night at the Museum's 20th Anniversary this year.

Played by Steve Coogan, Octavius is a miniature Roman general who is in the Museum Hall of Miniatures, Smart, bold, and loyal who used to be at war with the Cowboys next door fighting against each other until the night the tablet got stolen, and Octavius, his comrades, and the Cowboys all had to work together.

And after that night, he and Jedediah became really good friends, best friends, even if they came from different historical eras. Octavius and Jed's relationship is however you want them to be whether you see them as just friends, adoptive brothers, or a couple. "They may be small but their bond is mighty." said franchise director Shawn Levy in a 2016 Twitter/X post.
