Dandelions are magnificent flowers. They make excellent wine and are loved by bees. The brilliance of their vibrantly yellow petals are quite spectacular. I love that these flowers turn into seeds that are borne on the wind by feather light parachutes. Today's card is Dragonfly. It's message is one of clarity. Dragonflies are associated with the element of air and represents clear thinking and clear knowing. It's transparent wings offer insight and transparency with situations you may be facing. Dragonflies can hover and appear to almost stop before darting off again and this reminds us that we need to not only look at situations for other perspectives but be open to change plans or move quickly when the clarity arrives. All of these ORIGINAL art works are for sale on my website. They are all my standard A5 size, and come un framed. All are acrylics on water colour paper and were dotted with bird feathers. These are the next collection to be added. ( I am such a hoarder. I thought I would just keep them all but to have them packed away in folders doesn't bring me the happiness that knowing they were being loved while hanging in a forever home would.) Today's Card is MAGPIE Although there are many ways that we can communicate, the magpie represents the power of our spoken word. Often we are reminded that words have power and one of the most destructive things we can do is to use our words to hurt others. Whether we are talking directly to them or about them to others, we need to be mindful of our words and their intention. Speak gently, passionately, honestly. Use you words to encourage, to inspire, to share your knowledge and to make a stand about things that are worthy of your passion and conviction. Most importantly listen.
