Oof, had a rough day Saturday. Tristan apparently needed a smidge more interaction, because at bedtime (when I was handed an envelope) Tristan stole the empty envelope and pulled all the packing junk out. (After a moment, he brought them all to me for a treat each, so he made out like a complete and total bandit.) It was like a hide-and-seek puzzle toy, but for Serious Puppies. Not frivolous. Tristan had to check that package closely for adult reasons. Very grown-up and serious reasons.
