Wip of a diviners poster redraw I’m going to color digitally when I have the time.

So a while ago I did this project for The Diviners, where part of it was drawing a poster. I never got the project back because of good old COVID, but a couple of days ago I found some of the writing for said project in my files and tried to recreate the poster to the best of my memory.

From left to right the characters are Uncle Will, Jericho, Sam, Evie, Isaiah, Memphis, Theta, Mabel, and Sister Walker, with Naughty John in the middle.

This poster is for the first book, since it’s the only one I’ve read, and because of the amount of characters I tried to narrow it down to the main characters with povs that show up frequently in just the first book, so that’s why characters like Henry and Ling aren’t here.

Day 7 of #The100DayProject • #TheDiviners by #LibbaBray • Not sure what iteration of the cover design I have on my shelf, but I had no choice other than to love this YA paranormal mystery set in 1920’s New York. There were so many plot lines and interesting characters, and I think my only issue was that *spoiler* the Diviners didn’t start forming any sort of group till the end (whereas I had been expecting the magical teenage version of the Avengers going into it).
