90210: Adriana Tate-Duncan - Type 3w2

Adrianna is ditzy, vengeful and talented. Ever since she was a child, her mother has pushed her to succeed and become a famous actress.

At her best, Adrianna starts to learn that fame isn’t the most important thing in the world and her relationships are much more valuable. She shows she can be a caring friend and partner who will support and try to put the needs of others above her own.

At her worst, Adrianna becomes narcissistic and self absorbed. She will do anything to preserve her fame and loses sight of her friends and boyfriend. Adrianna doesn’t think about the consequences for her actions and is willing to go to extreme lengths to get back at others.

Adrianna has been pressured her whole life to become successful and financially support her mother. She had moderate success as a child actor and as a result pushes her self very far to try and replicate that success and provide her mother with more stability, money and gain her approval. Adrianna has issues dealing with this pressure and is afraid to voice her concerns to others, which results in her drug addiction as an attempt to numb the negative feelings she has. We see this tendency rear its head again when she starts to get blackmailed by Victor and she is willing to do exactly as he says due to the pressure of potentially losing her fame.

Adrianna shows both positive and negative traits in her relationships with Navid. She genuinely cares about him and tries to be what she thinks he wants her to be which leads to some of their miscommunications early on in their relationship. Despite what people think about Navid being a “nerd” she wants to be with him and accepts him for who he is. However, as her star rises she starts to take Navid for granted and doesn’t listen to any of his emotions and struggles leading to a wedge forming between the two of them. At the time she has a feeling that Navid will always be around even though she has been less attentive towards him.

Adrianna has a wing 2 as she is more extroverted and people oriented than a wing 4 may be.
