Update:
Cole called me this morning via Facebook messenger because the contract with his Japanese phone is officially up. Today was their last day at the port in southern Japan before they go to their next (and Cole’s final) port.
We were reminiscing and realized exactly 3 years ago today Cole arrived in Japan for his orders, and today is his last day in Japan. Talk about full circle!
When Cole gets to their next port in about a week and a half, he’ll be flying out to Seattle the day they arrive (yay!!!). So that means he officially has a week and a half before he’s in the same country as me!
Cole sent me a message before he went back on the ship and in it he said “next time you hear from me I’ll be back stateside” and omgggggg the feels! It had been three LONG, LONG years. And it’s finally coming to an end. This is crazy! But crazy exciting!!!!!
So that’s the update. So exciting, so happy. I’m full of joy 🥰
