gonna be so real, as a non binary person who has never had any intention to identify as "masc" or "fem" in any way, i wish i could go into spaces for nb people and not be barraged with "oh it's just a phase" "oh it's just the transition between X and Z" content

like no, i assure you, there's non-binary people who do not want to be labeled "fem presenting" or "masc" or whatever the fuck, maybe i just want to not be associated with the gender binary at all you know

creating new terminology just to fall down into the binary model once again is not the progress you think it is

another reason i feel wary is because i’m not quite sure of myself? i never feel anything, i don’t feel like a girl, but i don’t feel like a boy, so after research i though agender would be a good label for me. the problem is my lack of feeling, though. i feel like i don’t know who i am, and it’s something i’ve been thinking about more lately. for now, i will continue IDing as agender, and maybe this is truly who i am, or maybe one day i will be self assured.
