okay dunno where to start but i wrote a book! currently sending it to agents! it's a nblw enemies-to-lovers between a superhero and a supervillain, both of whom are aliens from the same planet. these characters are my babiesss and i'm gonna make little posts about them, but also wanted to take any qs anyone has about the book!! i wanna TALK ABOUT IT AHH

Writer Question For NB Folks

What are some acceptable ‘parent names’ (ie. alternatives of mom/dad) for gnc/nonbinary parents?

I get that some folks are OK with mom or dad, but I also understand that mom and dad are very gendered parental roles. 

I’ve seen like ‘Maddy’ and ‘Zaza’, I just don’t feel as though they’d really fit my parent character’s personality. Please don’t be afraid to leave your suggestions or tips in the comments!

So uh, to be quite honest, I actually forgot about this blog because it never really got noticed. That’s my fault for not promoting it enough. Would anyone be so kind to advise me female writers? Also nb writers? Or any of your fave writers who aren’t cis guys?

Sci-fi, fantasy (no high fantasy tho), new weird pls. Or anything else, i’m really not looking for anything particular in genre.

People have already helped me greatly with recommendations about comics once, maybe i’ll be lucky this time, too.
