okay so i made a lot of enby waiter waiter memes (inspired by my other two posts [og] [swapped]) and i can’t fit them all in one post, so if you don’t see one you like here, look in the reblogs of this post! i’ll be adding the rest there

ok so if you genuinely want to make a nb/nb subculture like yaoi and yuri and you want its name to be similar to yaoi and yuri, i think it should end in i like the other two, and start with yo. japanese has three sounds that in english start with y, and that's ya yu and yo. we've already used ya and yu, so let's use the last remaining sound. that leaves us with yo_i.

the vowels are a i u e o, and i think yoai is too close to yaoi and would confuse people, and that yoii yooi and yoei would be similarly confusing, so that leaves us with youi as the vowel option.

then for the consonant+vowel sounds, we've got ki shi chi ni hi mi ri, leaving us with the options yoki yoshi yochi yoni yohi yomi and yori

let's cut out shi and chi even though they sound fine and have fine meanings, because they break the pattern of four letters when using the english alphabet. then let's further remove yomi, because it's a homophone with the japanese concept of the underworld, and while there's nothing wrong with that it seems like an ill-advised start to a genre. then from there, let's find meanings that seem nice with the remaining sounds. of these potential combinations, here's the meanings i think could be even tangentially related to nb/nb romance and pornography

of these, yoki yori and youi have the best meanings.

i think youi to mean "mysterious occurance" is fun, but yori to mean "twist/ply" could be solid, like "we're twisting these two characters together to see the result". however the simplest answer is:

良き: yoki, good

i propose that if you genuinely want to start writing and drawing nonbinary/nonbinary yaoi/yuri equivalent, it be called yoki!

I think ill learn how to color my pieces as i go. Umm so ye i think this is the finished work, i have a lot of missing colors so i had to substitute with other ones. Sorry its not really good but i had fun so yay :D
