Gives Back '12
The Junior Philippine geographical society head on to Navotas for this year’s gives back activity.
Students of the NBBN day care center were thrilled when we arrived at their place, they wore with them their biggest smiles.
The program was kicked off with an exciting game called bring me where the children were asked to bring different things in front, they were even asked to bring their favorite teacher.
The children also danced to the tune of the famous Gangnam style, which made the program very alive.
After, the students were then asked to be seated and then each were given a pencil, paper and crayons for them to draw what comes into their minds when they hear about Christmas.
Students drew different things, Christmas trees, santa claus, gifts, clocks that strikes 12, Rudolph, one even drew a church with a couple being wed because he said that many couples get married during December.
It was really enthralling to see that these kids have different interpretations of Christmas.
Then after being exhausted with all the dancing and coloring, the children including us of course were all famished, and so we decided that it was time for lunch.
Spaghetti and Chickens for everyone!
And what best way to start the fun again than a game of the boat is sinking?
After we were able to calm the children down, with all the excitement, we announced the names of those who had the best drawings.
we thought we were the ones bringing the fun to the kids but we were in awe to be the one feeling much overwhelmed.
