Fixing the cliff fall

These moments when Will is thinking about Hannibal in private and looking so incredibly sad. Sitting on the kitchen floor after Hannibal left, laying on the stairs in the church, laying in bed and caressing his scar. He acts like Hannibal's obsession with him is an inconvenience when it fits his plans, but god he is in love too. He is so in love and heartbroken just like Hannibal.

I'm having dangerous thoughts, Frankenstein Hannigram AU. (I know this has been done several times and my thoughts are probably not unique):

• Will makes the creature (Hannibal) not because he's ambitious like Victor but because he's lonely and has (like Victor) no respect for what is right and wrong

• Like Victor, Will panics when the creature opens its eyes. He is frightened of the crime he has committed but, unlike Victor, he has intense empathy for the creature, hence the eye contact is so frightening

• This empathy makes Will react completely differently to the creature telling his tale later in the story. He does not dismiss him and instead feels with him intensely

• Will does not name his creature until later, when it begins eating people. Hannibal the Cannibal (Will is an asshole)

• Hannibal keeps telling Will that he wants company, a fellow monster. Will naturally interprets this as him wanting a female creature. Hannibal knows the entire time he does not mean a female creature, but Will himself, but he never says this directly and instead speaks in riddles and metaphors

• Will makes Hannibal a bride. Unlike Victor he goes through with it. It's Bedelia. She decides, like in canon, that this role is better fit for Will and speaks in more riddles to make this clear to him

• Hannibal calls Will his creator and father. This goes along with the romantic and sexual desire

• Hannibal having moral speeches about only imitating humans in his eating of people, since he learned they eat animals that are weaker and less intelligent than themselves

• Will going yeah actually he has a point in everything he says :)

• Hannibal kills and eats a few people in Will's circle. Unlike Victor, Will barely cares. What is really driving him insane is only his relationship with Hannibal and his own nature while everyone around him is going insane with fear

• Will: "Do you believe you could shape me, the way I have shaped you?" Hannibal: "I already did." (And Will realises he is right)
