These moments when Will is thinking about Hannibal in private and looking so incredibly sad. He acts like Hannibal's obsession with him is an inconvenience when it fits his plans, but god he is in love too. He is so in love and heartbroken just like Hannibal.

just rewatched the social worker in the horse scene and mads played hannibal so desperately in awe it’s just insane. hannibal lecter always so calm and collected and controlled breaks clauses for breaths, swallows after words, stands unblinkingly admiring and helpless to stop himself from smiling and his hands from clutching to the man who had moments before almost killed in front of him. his caterpillar <3
