If all of you over in America and Europe or whatever think your education and examination system is messed up, please bear in mind that yesterday New Zealand's year 11 end of year English exam required students to investigate the romantic relationship between a poet and their stool. That's right, a romantic relationship with a stool, as in the furniture.
I've been absent for a long time 🙈 During our mid year exams I decided to delete all of my social media and my work improved so much along with my emotions that I didn't re-download anything! wow i’ve been busy getting back into the swing of school. This will just be a general overview
Achieved:
Read and analysed the course overview for each subject
completed the introductory tasks for english
Started the first unit in French class
Practiced aural skills in Music, as well as general music understanding
Started the ‘mammals’ unit in science
Read through and discussed the script for the production in drama class
Had two completely useless classes that i dread for the year (Financial Literacy and ‘be the change’ which is basically careers and motivational speaking all in one 🤢)
Discussed getting study periods with the learning support teacher
Attended choir and had a leadership meeting
Attended and led the first rainbow group of the year
Went to therapy(!!)
Got an appointment with the endocrinologist
Went to the gym
Practiced the school production music
wOW that’s a lot. Still, it should quiet down a bit next week. i’m also planning for the tramp my cohort is going on in two weeks so that’s exciting! Choir camp is in the next week, which is 8 hours of singing per day for 3 days (ahhhhh)
Super pumped about this year though!
