Thinking about quite possibly the most egregious things the NCIS writers ever did again. Nope, wait, I just added another one. Mentally, this started with just killing off Emily Fornell, but then I added killing off Breena Palmer too. Oh, and whatever the heck Bishop's ending was. I could go on.

The killing off of women for incomprehensible reasons unless it's only to further Man-Pain? Ridiculous. I don't even know where to start with Bishop's send-off, but at least she's not dead. You'd honestly think there's not a single person in the writers room that likes the show, or cares about the characters. I'm convinced not one of them is left that knows the plot of the show more than a couple seasons before they started writing for it.

And I definitely don't only blame the writers. I'm sure a good chunk of the issues are CBS' fault, problems which were highlighted during the strikes. But still.

I love this show. There's still good stuff about it today, don't get me wrong. I just randomly remembered some of these baffling plot choices that were mentioned in like one or two episodes and then never again, despite how heartwrenching and tragic they are.

I do not have enough courage to pick up the TV remote and play the episode.

when the show ends can the writers do an Q&A or something to answer our questions and fill up the holes?

- has tiva ever slept together before ppf?

- was that scene on the tarmac in ppf the first time they ever said ily (kindooffff) to each other? Or did it happen before

- wtf was he doing every week in her appartment

- what did they mean by « I’m tired of pretending » pleeeeease

- what happened in Paris omg

- did they argue in Cairo ? How long did they see each other? How many times did they call and what did they say

- how does gibbs get his boat out of his basement (it better be the last scene ever and we better have our answer)

and probably a lot more questions that I can’t think of atm, remind me if you have any

I can't even look at the beautiful gifs of the kiss and feel happy. What the heck.

Coming from a die hard tiva fan, this was so much worse. At least we got emotion, and a loving kiss with Tiva. This was just..... a hot mess that makes absolutely zero sense. I'm so disappointed.

Usually I can find the positive/optimistic point of view when the show pulls something like this. This time, I've got nothing. Unless this is some sick elaborate prank on the fanbase, I can't imagine a worse way to send off a character.
