Swatch Review
I recently went to see the new range of Swatches at their press office. It was so nice to see an eclectic grouping that offered a style for everyone.
The watches were sorted into 3 different showings.
The art grouping reflected their strong stance in the progression of the arts, The centerpiece was the collaboration that came from the recent residents at the Swatch Shanghai Peace Hotel.
The minimal selection were sleek, clean and with the perfect pops of statements.
The final section was made up of vintage deco inspired offerings for women and aviation styled bands for men.

BlackBerry U2 360 World Tour Sponsorship
In 2009 NCompass activated the BlackBerry world tour sponsorship of U2's 360 Tour. It was a giant project that visited over 12 European countries on its first leg. Our sponsorship department had 3 semi trucks filled with production gear that allowed us to "brand" an entire stadium on a daily basis.
On major tours such as this there are several departments: Lighting, Video, Sound, Catering, Automation and so on. Our particular department (Sponsorship) had a total of 10 people that were responsible for managing the entire program: Logistics, Production, Decor, Training and B to B internal programs to name a few.
We had the privilege to work in countries from Spain to Poland to Croatia. Each country presented a set of challenges and opportunities that we persevered due to hard work, tenacity and pasion.
Our department employed approximately 60-100 people per city...Think about that for a minute. These people worked for us as either stagehands, brand ambassadors, security or local management support. We created a working advance system that merged with the over all tour program and allowed us to efficiently advance our production needs, on site spacing needs, talent scouting and ultimately execute the day of the show.
On top of the nuts and bolts of this program there was the actual marketing plan that we developed. Our combined efforts allowed for a successful program and winning the "Best Activation of Entertainment Sponsorship" award from the EX Awards.
