Taeil: I think Taeil would be pretty calm about the situation. Like he’d be sure of his feelings, and would be prepared whether or not you felt the same. He had weighed all of the options a million times, so he was ready for whatever happened. Because of that, I think he would find it easy confessing since usually the worst part of telling someone how you feel is the fear of their reaction. It would be something simple and low-key, like inviting you to an NCT practice and then asking you to hang back afterwards to talk for a few minutes. I also think Taeil wouldn’t really tell anyone about his crush until he was sure of how the other person felt, so once he had talked to you, he would tell the members. This would probably be a lot more daunting for him than his actual confession to you xD
Johnny: Similar to Taeil, I think it would be a pretty laid back confession. You guys would be so comfortable and close with each other. It would be a genuine friendship, and I think over time you would both sort of just realize that you liked each other as more than friends. I think the confession would happen one day when you guys would be hanging out, and you’d kind of just catch him staring and smiling at you. “What?” “You know that I really like you, right? As more than a friend?” After you told him you knew and felt the same, everything would just go back to normal because you were basically already a couple without the label. The only thing that would change would be you guys could show affection and have a physical relationship now whoop whoop.
Taeyong: In my opinion, Taeyong is the romantic of the group. Not in the sense that he knows the most about romance, but in the sense that he’s the most likely to do the cheesy things you see in movies or K-dramas. I don’t know why I think that but I do lol. I can see him doing something like showing up at your place with roses and just asking you on the spot if you’ll go out with him because he has feelings for you and can’t stand not being with you any longer. That, or he would do something really over the top like write a song for you and link it to you once it was released on an NCT album. He would write a cute message along with the link about how you inspired the song and he hoped that you would be able to accept this heart because every second without you was painful for him.
Yuta: So, Yuta is the manly-man of the group, right? I think that archetype would play into this situation A LOT for him lol. It would be a classic scenario of confessing because of jealousy. Another guy would express interest in you, you’d have a date with another guy planned, or you’d dressed up to go clubbing with friends etc. Basically any situation that made him worry that some other guy would get the chance to become yours before he could. He would probably try to stop you from going on the date or scold you for dressing too suggestively or something, resultantly pissing you off lol. After what would inevitably be an argument, he would either tell you how he felt out of anger, or as a way to soften the situation and help him explain why he was acting the way he was.
Doyoung: I think Doyoung would take a very calculated approach to telling someone he had a crush on them, because he seems very thoughtful and intentional with what he does. He would probably ask you out for dinner and make sure it was at your favourite restaurant. But he would do it in a way that just seemed friendly and didn’t make you suspect his true intentions. He would know exactly what point during the dinner he was going to tell you and would have a whole speech prepared. You would know something was off by the way he was fidgeting and seemed nervous. Plus he would be SO focused on you and everything you were saying and doing. Finally, when the perfect moment came up, he would tell you how he felt, feeling satisfied with executing his plan. He’d still be extremely nervous to know how you felt too though!
Jaehyun: I see Jaehyun as the member most likely to go up to a stranger he thinks is attractive and express his interest in them. I think he would be extremely shy about approaching you at first, not wanting to bother you or come across as creepy, but eventually he would decide to be forward and strike up a conversation. He would keep it simple, saying “excuse me” and explaining that you caught his eye and he would love it if maybe you could hang out sometime. Buuuuuut if he knew you personally and was crushing, it would depend on the situation. If he thought you might like him back, I think he would be straight-forward and confidently tell you directly while hanging out that he had a crush on you and was hoping he could take you on a date. If he wasn’t sure how you felt, I think he would still tell you directly, but he would be much more shy with his delivery because he didn’t want to get rejected.

Winwin: I always fall back to the idea that Winwin is shy lol. Especially with girls. I think generally he seems confident, but would become really self-conscious around a girl he was crushing on. The members would tease him a lot when you weren’t around, because omg their resident cutie-pie Winwin has a crush. I think more than anything, he would get tired of their teasing and would decide to tell you. Winwin would probably do something with a lot of thought and effort put into it, like baking your favourite cake by himself or buying couple items in the hopes that you would accept his feelings for you. On a day when he had lots of free time, he would present it to you before awkwardly stuttering out a confession. I think despite his nervousness, he would want to seem confident and would force himself to look at you while he told you his true feelings.
Jungwoo: Jungwoo seems so sincere and sweet. I think when he likes someone, he’s 100% in on liking that person, so he would feel pretty overwhelmed and would want to tell you to get things off of his chest. But being the nervous muffin he is, he wouldn’t know how to do it! I think he would go for a very cliche but classic approach like writing you a letter and leaving it somewhere that he knew you would find it when he wasn’t around lol. He’d be so anxious knowing that at any minute, you would know how he felt about you. Obviously finding the letter itself would be adorable, but once you read the contents you would message him to say how sweet the gesture was, and ask if he really meant it. He would really back with a simple “yes...” and a heart emoji. Once he knew you felt the same, he’d be so happy and proud that he had told you how he felt.
Mark: Mark wouldn’t even need to confess because let’s be real, the members would make it so blatantly obvious that he was crushing, you would know before he even had the chance to tell you himself lol. I think Johnny and Taeyong in particular would tease him a lot when you were around (out of love oc, they’re like parents to him lol). At first you would brush it off and take it as a joke, but over time you’d start to notice the other members giggling at their comments and you would see Mark’s cheeks become flushed and him avoiding eye-contact with you. I think rather than him confessing, eventually you would calmly confront him about it in private. He would know how obvious it was, so he’d have to tell you the truth and he would be really shy about it, but also relieved that he didn’t have to pretend anymore.
Haechan: If he was truly crushing on someone, Haechan would turn to his hyungs for advice on what to do, despite him being confident and always roasting them. If he liked someone, he would want to do everything he could to ensure things went well, and since he likely lacks experience with dating, he’d seek help. I think ultimately, he would take all of their advice to heart and settle on doing something sweet, but not over the top. I could see him preparing a picnic for the two of you. You would know something was up by the way he seemed nervous asking you to hang out. He would play it cool during the actual hang-out, acting as normal as possible, until the end of the picnic when he would pause, take a deep breath, and tell you that he liked you. He’d follow-up with all of the reasons why you should date him (he would talk himself up a lot lol). I think this would be one of few situations where he would be very serious.
