Today, I will be teaching a class at @workstationnigeria focusing on the mental health of start-up founders and their staff members. We have such an unhealthy work culture in Nigeria. With new companies coming up, it is our responsibility to focus on how we, the future Dangotes are not just improving the economy but also, improving our lives and those of the people that work with us. A common misconception is that you only to go to see a therapist when you are experiencing serious mental health issues. You can see a shrink for many different reasons that you might consider not a big deal but is bringing you stress or pain. A good therapist can help you cope with feelings, problem solve and change behaviour patterns that contribute to whatever difficulty you are experiencing in life.
