my take on it is weird it’s like i don’t think the movie alone was a good movie.. i mean not just because it doesn’t make sense but if you’re not somewhat invested in the storyline i don’t think you’ll really like the movie. it’s just that when people watched alien they didn’t watch the original movies for such a strong interesting backstory they just wanted to see Sigourney Weaver Destroy Aliens, which they did. now that there’s a really interesting story behind it like david engineering the xenomorphs off of what the engineers had started, now THATS some shit, that’s what i like to see. i just wish Shaw had more presence and david wasn’t such a Fuck... there was no reason to wipe out the engineers on that planet, and there was needless creepiness in the scene before the walter/david fight which i didn’t see a reason for, he’s a fucking robot why does he need to kiss her
