USA 1990
Today my ordered Sega Genesis with three Simpsons games arrived! ≧◡≦ I bought it from the US, as I am from a PAL Mega Drive region. And if there’s something I can’t stand in retro video gaming, it’s PAL format with all it’s borders and slow downs! >‸<; That’s why all of my old gaming consoles are imported either from the US or Japan…and I’m also no fan of console modding.
As this has something to do with the Simpsons, I decided to include it in my blog, even if it’s a bit off-topic…anyway in this post I can share a little bit of my retro gaming collection in the cellar. ◕‿-
That’s where I spend my rare spare time, if I’m not drawing, playing with toys or wasting time with comics and other stuff… ^◡^
my PC-Engine Duo (from Japan)
Sega Saturn (Model 2, Japanese) Sega Mega Drive (also Japanese) with Mega-CD add-on, both Model 1
Nintendo Gamecube and Pikachu Edition Nintendo 64, both Japanese Version…and my American Super Nintendo (I think I’m the only one who prefers the look of it to the European SNES and the Super Famicom)
my US (it can output even RGB signal, like the rest of the bunch except for the N64, I’m so silly that I’m playing this in such good picture quality!) Sega Pico and my limited Sakura Taisen Sega Dreamcast, from Japan.
the US Genesis 2 is running awesome! I know that these Simpsons games are mediocre and also not very good, but I’m a big fan, collector and Sega fan, that’s why I wanted to have them! ◠‿◠ ♥
