Loved this scene for my headcanon of Rook being visually impaired. Obviously even though the game allows 'cosmetic' cataracts, it doesn't affect anything in terms of gameplay or conversation, but I imagine that he learned to use his spirit magic to help him navigate, and Emmrich is showing him another way to access the magic of the Fade in this scene.

My Rook is visually impaired and learned to navigate the world with the use of spirit magic, so he's really attuned to spirits (as mentioned by Taash when they're having their 'disagreement' with Emmrich). He finds it difficult to discern the difference between spirits and the living sometimes, shall we say...
