Necromantia - "Crossing the Fiery Path" - 1993 Greece Black Metal, Symphonic Black Metal
Algis Uždavinys used the phrase "the fiery road" to refer to the path to "the Father" (the Platonic Demiurge) and the process of “becoming Fire”, and ngl when I read that part of Philosophy As A Rite of Rebirth my immediate thought was Necromantia's album Crossing The Fiery Path, so I'm very tempted to use the title of that album as a euphemism for something similar.
Necromancy - My Ouija Table
(from : pinterest)
(excuse for my english ^^')
Spiritism and Necromancy are often mistakenly confused when it comes to communication with spirits and the deceased. Where spiritualism consists in entering into simple contact with the Beyond, necromancy, a true discipline and one of the parts of black magic, allows us to question the dead to know the true nature of things or the future. Sometimes much more than that, you have to go back a long history to understand the essence of this art (something I'll spare you).
Ouija board game can be a way of questioning spirits. For this, I would advise you to be accompanied or to be sufficiently comfortable with the very concept of death and to be ready both in your learning of witchcraft and mentally. Indeed, do not practice under any circumstances if you feel bad about yourself, if you are sick or weakened in any way, since you will be in direct contact with negative energies.
If you don't have a "conventional" ouija board table (which is not mandatory), you can make one. For this you are free to use a wooden board/cardboard surface that you will carve/glue out of cut-out words/letters/symbols.
For my part, I use (for now) a homemade table with letters of the Latin alphabet, words "hello", "goodbye", "yes", "no", "maybe", feminine, masculine, neutral, heart, spades, clubs, diamonds (each have a meaning in cartomancy), star, eye, pentagram and a sun and moon symbols at both ends (they are very important).
For the advice part, I suggest you be comfortable with your equipment, feel free to add or remove symbols/letters or even decorate your table (I advise you to keep the moon and the sun so as to balance your game).
The important thing is to ALWAYS respect the deceased.
Now, practice:
It is more appropriate to practice at night (ideally around 3-4 am) in a place with dim light and no electronic devices nearby.
Also, if you can, fast the day before in order to fluidify your energies.
Before starting, prepare yourself materially (the indicator must be placed in the center or on "hello") and psychologically.
You can, if you want to get in touch with someone in particular use a memory of the person, write him a letter (ideally, offer this word as an offering), …
Take something to write down the letters/symbols if you want
Now that you are ready, and if you are alone, sit down without crossing your legs in front of the game, put your hand on the indicator, close your eyes, imagine the person if you want someone in particular or a white light and move the indicator according to the energies you will feel (we don't force you if you don't feel anything, stop and try again another day) and open your eyes as soon as you feel it to write down your result and repeat until you are satisfied. Remember, if you feel bad at any point, stop.
To stop, open your eyes and place your indicator on the "goodbye" or whatever you interpret as.
If there are several of you, you will all have to guide the indicator and agree on a question by following the steps above.
The first attempts will often end in failure, don't be discouraged:)
Generally avoid practicing on Sundays, religious holidays and full moon days (light tends to decrease your chances.
On the contrary, practice on new moon days and Friday will increase your chances.
