I've been brainstorming in the reblogs of my "In another universe, Neil Josten is a son of Hermes" post and I have come up with more ideas for the other foxes' godly parents! This is going to end up as an au that I definitely will write for at some point lol
Neil Josten is a son of Hermes (god of deception, trickery, thievery, language, communication, travelers, speed, athletes, sports, need I say more)
Andrew and Aaron Minyard are Aphrodite kids (listen listen listen this makes so much sense to me it has the potential for so much added angst in their stories. I can elaborate please tell me to elaborate)
Kevin Day is a son of Athena for now just because he would be soooo insufferable about it (and I love that for him) and also it does make sense for him lol he's a history fanatic and is obsessed with exy to the point of doing military-style drill practices for it. Athena would love her idiot son. (and would pressure him to be the best of the best and give him tons of issues about it but who is surprised) Also the fatal flaw of Athena's children is pride, and something that Kevin never did is shy away from the fact that he is The best at what he does. Riko had the power to destroy what made Kevin prideful, and he almost did, and that almost took away Kevin's everything. Kayleigh Day making exy and Athena pushing Hermes out of the Fucking Way so she can kiss Kayleigh's brain. Get your sports nonsense somewhere else, Hermes, this woman has a beautiful analytical mind and Athena would love to explore it. Would be Hilarious if both Wymack and TWO gods had crushes on Kayleigh Day like yes that woman is amazing
For Matt, I was originally thinking of him being a son of either Ares or Bellona, but then I changed it to Poseidon. Loyalty oozes off that boy in waves, but he still has a temper like poseidon. Look at the fights he got in lol so this makes sense for him
Now Dan is a daughter of Ares. She reminds me of character-developed Clarisse lol
Nicky Hemmick and Renee Walker are both children of Dionysus, purely because it works so much for their stories. Madness and theatre are some of the things that belong to Dionysus. Gang member Renee who used to unsettle the people around her, later learning to take hold of her emotions. Nicky whose childhood was filled with issues purely because he amplifies people's emotions around him. Nicky later on learning to be more in touch with his emotions to negate what he was probably taught by Luther
Aphrodite seems like the obvious choice for Allison as well, but I'm curious about Apollo for her. Though it would be funny to amplify her bickering with Andrew & Aaron when they would have to sleep in the same cabin LMFAO
Seth Gordon would be SO funny as a child of demeter. Other children of demeter would grow fruits and vegetables. Seth grows weed. Allison, in the public eye, demands flowers from him. In private, she smokes with him on the roof of his cabin. When they get into the occasional fight the flowers he grows for her start giving him signs of wilting soon so he picks them and hands them to her like "I only did this because I care about plant life" and Allison is like get your fucking flowers away from me and then they make out about it
As for the trojans I have not read the sunshine court series yet, but I do know Jean and Jeremy well. So far it's Apollo Jeremy and Hades Jean. Seems very Will and Nico coded but it does make sense! Jean definitely holds grudges. Look at his feelings towards Kevin and Neil leaving the nest. He would have Loved to beat the everloving shit out of Riko Moriyama. Remember his reaction to Andrew hitting Riko with the racket, and Jean hungrily wondering what were the words that Neil said to Riko that made him so mad in that moment. How Jean insisted that this was Important. Yeah he holds grudges for sureee. Also nico and jean both losing their sisters at young ages. Ughhhh my heart
As for Jeremy the boy is the embodiment of the sun. Also Apollo's children being healers, and Jeremy wanting to heal everyone but himself
