I suppose this is kind of sort of an open letter to all the older/experienced witches/Pagans.
This is something that's been sitting with me for a while now. This is not directed at anybody or an attack on any group. This is again, just me in my little corner of Tumblr, rambling and expressing my feelings in some amount of words.
None of us got to where we are now overnight. And for some of us it took way longer than others.
We've all been young once. We've all been new to "all this" once. We've probably all said more than a few cringe worthy things and posted cringe worthy contents on social media for all to see.
Nobody's perfect. None of us will ever be perfect. Mistakes are going to happen. Mess ups are going to happen. No matter how long we've been doing anything.
What young/new beginners don't need, is to be traumatized to the point where they feel like they can never find anything to enjoy without being shamed, ridiculed, and dogpiled again.
These are real people behind social media accounts and blog names. Some of them are still kids.
I've seen so many innocent mistakes out of simply not knowing better end up in massive callouts and bring about online lynch mobs, it's disturbing.
Yes. There are "those" out there who aren't anywhere to learn and are everywhere to argue. Who think they are above reproach. But a little bit of going through their blogs, their social media posts, should be enough to separate "those" from the rest.
No. The "if they're old enough to be on the internet then they're old enough to know better" saying isn't a fair statement. You don't know them. You have no idea what situations they might be in or what their lives might be like. Some of them are the new kids in their towns and are having a hard time making friends, so maintaining an online presence keeps their human connections. Some of them are neurodivergent that face to face interactions and socializations are just too difficult. Some of them have nobody in real life to help them, to guide them, to offer them resources, to point them in the right ddirections. Also, everybody develops at a different pace. There is no one size fits all for growth. There is no "well they're 18 and above now they're supposed to be mature enough" because 1) they might be lying about their age to keep themselves safe and 2) you don't just grow out or vulnerabilities, lack of life experiences, insecurities, and whatever hand life might have dealt you.
We are not automatically better, just because we are older and more experienced. Age and how long we've been doing something doesn't mean we're superior, doesn't mean the younger/less experienced are beneath us, doesn't mean we have nothing to learn from beginners.
A private "hey just letting you know" goes a long way. 8 to 9 out of 10 it will turn out to be an "oops my bad". It also doesn't take up any of your time to just ignore it all, leave everyone to their shenanigans, get on with your day, and mind your own business.
If you don't want to help people, it also costs nothing to not hurt people.
SPOILERS AHEAD PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ENDGAME YET !!
remember a few weeks back, when i wrote this headcanon about scarlett having trouble to keep having hope that they'd bring everyone back, and that’s because she was extremely afraid that they could lose even more by trying ??
OH WELL I GUESS SHE WASN’T WRONG AFTER ALL.
Don’t get me wrong, yes, of course she’s happy to have everyone back. She’s so happy wanda, fury, hill, peter, buck and everyone else is back but— the price, for her, it was still too high. She lost her mother and Tony, two extremely important people on her life so, yes she won… but she still lost anyway. so she has mixed feelings right now.

And two troublemakers
A boy king with heart of gold
And the only girl bless her soul.
Thinking makes me sad. She was everything I wanted, and I keep thinking of her. It was a year ago. I am still in love. It hurts sometimes, when I think too deeply. But I know some day I will be okay. I will never not love her, but I will try my darnedest to find someone else to love. I will not shut myself off, because then I will not find more love. I am okay now, and I will be more okay in the future. I will keep living. Tomorrow will not be so bad. I can have a good day tomorrow. I might think about her, but I might also think about somebody else. I will not give up.
Theory Fun Time...
So I’ve been seeing a lot of people question why Yandereplier wasn’t at the meeting during the MarkiplierTV video, so I figured i’d share my thoughts.
So first off I want to bring to attention to what Mark had said about the egos, in which he stated, “We put them in the same room for a reason” and to me this brings up two points:
1. All those egos were in that room for a specific purpose, not just because of their expertise but because wilford and dark want their help in achieving in their goal of taking over the channel.
2. If you notice all the egos were from older videos from 2015 or before, which could equal more experience, and more power based on screen and social media time.
Whereas Yandereplier is a realitively new ego from 2016, which means he probably doesn’t have the power or the respect of the egos, so from their prespective he isn’t of any use to them. And the same can be said for the other egos who don’t have the power or the respect of Dark and Wilford.
mlm, wlw and other people who experience same-sex attraction (bi, pan, etc.) are oppressed according to what straight men think of as appealing so please don't tell me that the patriarchy doesn't exist.
i cried today realizing (again) my mother made me believe my father didn't love me and i know better now -> my father's mental illness is not my father's fault and so it is not his fault he didn't have the tools to care for me the way i needed growing up. this doesn't mean he never loved me, it is something my mother made up and i didn't know what to belief.
