First thing I ever successfully needlebound (and finished). It’s a little wrist warmer.

used needlebinding to make a mudcrab
needlebinding (or nålebinding) is an ancient way of making stuff out of string, older than knitting or crocheting. learned it at a renaissance fair
I made two naals and starting naalbinding a hat! Needlebinding is...I mean, it's just so...hmm what is the word? Excellent. Soothing. Frustrating. Thicc. Hngh, squish that hat-to-be.
If you ever wanted to know how to needle-bind as they did once upon a time~ This be one of many stitches.
I found some beautiful Icelandic wool yarn and made my first-ever pair of nalbinding mittens!
My needle binding adventures continue, this time I noticed that the tip of the slipper was way too fucking tight so I decided to take a risk and cut it off to needle it shut where it was fine. Seems to have worked out? Nothings falling apart, so now I just need to figure out how to close it again, cause I don't have instructions for that. I'll figure it out.
First needle binding project
Hab jetzt was zur Nadelaufbewahrung. :3
