i started writing it, still a wip but i need someone to yearn for this as much as me!!!

so here: I'm pitching my prince/knight idea

starting off as friends as in canon, where prince winnie is overjoyed that the boy his age wants to be his royal knight, while auggie starts off well but slowly starts to resent the hand that feeds him, he feels trapped but also can't run away from the literal prince! so he stays as his personal knight and does as he's expected to. Meanwhile Winnie keeps falling for his friend with each year they know each other and he's hoping that he's right in the assumption that his friends (knight, and love of his life) likes(romantically) him back... maybe he should say something, i mean... what could possibly go wrong? Right??
