I don't see anybody pointing this out (or maybe someone did and i didn't see it), but i love the little contrast in these two's designs, where both of their cybernetics are on their opposite sides, Henry's cybernetics are only around his left arm and spin, while Right Hand Man's are around his right hand and both of his legs

interesting how Noelle's dark world hair color resembles a lot closely to her mom's light world hair color, unlike Noelle's light world

Man i just had a headcanon comic idea for a trans masc Mario and Luigi!

I don't do comics though because i hate making them 😭

BUT it goes something like this:

Mario opens the door of his house and says it's a beautiful day, he tries to call for his brother to come out and have some adventures with him, but he doesn't hear a response

He goes back inside and checks on his brother, he knocks on his door room, he asks if he could enter, and Luigi was hesitant but he allowed him in anyway

Mario asks his brother what's up, and it's been weeks since he left his house, Luigi begins to be scared, he says he has been on testosterone for months now, and he still does not have a mustache yet, and his voice has not gone deeper yet either, he says he fears people would laugh at him and think he's not "manly enough" or "masculine enough" to be taken seriously, he begins to be paranoid and starts doubting himself that what if he was faking it, and before he could spiral, Mario cuts off his thoughts and reassures him that he's just overthinking it, and tells him that he himself hasn't finished transitioning yet either, his top surgery scars are still visible, and that doesn't make him less of a guy, and that transitions does take a long time and he needs to give it time, and if anyone where to say something about it to him, he'll teach them a lesson and knock them out

That reassures Luigi and calms him down, he thanks his brother, and Mario would say something like "And you'll always be my brother" while giving him a hug

I'm still in love with those doodles Phantom Arcade made of Henry Stickmin and how he portrays him as this menacing murderer (which isn't really far off from canon lol)

I wonder what his beef is with Monster anyway...

Is no one gonna talk about the fact that Susie and Ralsei have hearts in their designs?? Or am i the one obsessing over unimportant design details???

Susie has one on her belt, and Ralsei on his dress

I feel like i'm going crazy on what that means or if they're just design choices. I know Ralsei's "heart" is just an upside down spade, but even his older sprite has a heart

Oh yes, i forgot to send these two years ago, did i? I apologise for that

But yeah, I actually had a somewhat of an interview with Laisanen back in 2024, and i remember asking some questions at the time when i tried contacting him

Sadly I can't remember everything i asked because i got paranoid by the time i sent these messages days later, so i couldn't screenshot my own questions at the time, but i will try to remember here

Alright so, i think i remember the first two i remember this clearly, i think i asked about what work was like with Rovio back then and how it felt working for them

The third one was a question regarding the number of episodes regarding the series back then, i think i asked somewhere along the lines of "was the Stella series ever intended to have a second season? Because if my memory serves, i remember back then 'season 1' was never labelled as such at all until season 2 was announced"

And the last one, while i kind of doubt if i actually asked that or not since the memory is very vague, i think I might've asked if he has a favourite character he liked working on while he was working on the series

Or maybe I'm misremembering this one and I asked something along the lines of if there were something he wishes was done in the series better or explored more, I can't remember exactly 😅

I think there was one more thing I asked but got no response from, and i think this was regarding if Stella and Gale were intended to ever be together back then, which i think he basically ignored that question, which is understandable 😅
