Interesting quote for those who still insist that the 82 declarations are “cheat codes” and were never something in use by or relevant to the living. They were. Granted, that relevance may have been limited to a very particular subgroup and not to the everyman by any means, but there was, and is, still value in emulating the spirit of the Declarations.

So I'm writing a book of shadows, and one of the pages I'm working on is for asking for forgiveness... what I'm asking is would a recitation of the 42 negative confessions be good enough for the netjeru or could I just ask "netjeru forgive me for x?"

I honestly don’t consider the 42 Neg Confessions to be about forgiveness, so I personally would look for something different to use.

To me, the 42 NC is about making yourself pure for entry into the Duat. It’s about renouncing any past errors you’ve made, heka to wipe your slate clean, and a promise to uphold said rules/ideals once you enter the Duat as a citizen. It’s less about asking for forgiveness than it is about making yourself squeaky clean for your new life. As such, I’d probably recommend finding something else to use…

Got into Lobotomy Corporation when I randomly saw it whilst browsing pirating sites and tried it out. Got hooked.

Years later, and with both games 100%'d in my Steam Library and excitedly waiting for Limbus, I can certainly say that I would rather throw myself into Singing Machine and endure Angela's million years than go through another PM 'tutorial'
