Episode idea:
Sector V is violently confronted by the Delightful Children, believing that they did something to make Father start acting strangely. They don't know what, but Father has announced his "retirement" as CEO of Evil Adults Enterprises and from adult villainy entirely, and has been pressuring the DC to do the same.
The DC, upon realizing Sector V had no idea what they were talking about, explained that Father had returned from Saratoga Springs acting strangely, more meekly, and prone to jumping at the smallest things. At first, they thought it was because he was still upset that Faust couldn't go with him and, for some reason, thought she'd break up with him, but strangely, he wasn't angry as he had been when he left. He was paranoid, and when asked about the spat, Father seemed confused as to who Faust was. Father clearly recognized the DC and acted devastated at the sight of them, at how they were dressed and how they acted. He also wore a horrid clash of colors instead of his more dapper ones and seemed to have dyed his hair for... some reason, at least according to the DC. The next thing they knew, he announced that he was giving up villainy altogether.
The Delightful Children had tried going to Faust to talk sense into Father, but she had left town for a toy convention earlier that day, hence why she couldn't join him, and she wouldn't be back for hours. All attempts to contact her have hit a dead end. Out of options, they chose to confront the KND.
Sector V found this strangely familiar and decided to investigate. The said investigation led them to a barricaded study door in the Delightful Mansion. Upon knocking, a shakey, desperate voice answered and Nigel immediately recognized it. This wasn't Father. It was Daddy from the alternate dimension where kids were put to work and adults did nothing but play all day. After a short exchange calming the man down, the sound of furniture moving reached their ears and the door opened. There stood a tall, thin man with brown hair, purple horn-rimmed glasses in a turquoise and purple ensemble, trembling like a baby deer.
Once he felt safe enough, Daddy laments what he remembered before appearing here. Negative Numbuh Four had escaped the broccoli mines and reopened the portal to this world to enact revenge on the KND, though in a different, secluded area that seemed to be connected to this world's Saratoga Springs. Daddy, feeling useless to his kids, decided to take matters into his own hands when he catches sight of NNF right before the portal is opened. Daddy followed NNF into the portal, only to come face to face with his Positive counterpart who had been relaxing in a private pool. Father is absolutely pissed seeing a kid in his room with a mixture of confusion and rage upon seeing a version of himself who "dresses tacky." Before Father could address the situation and before Daddy could stop him, NNF shoved Father into the portal and escaped into the Positive World. Daddy was only able to find his way back to the Delightful Mansion because Father's chauffeur had brought him there. He didn't get a chance to chase after the boy.
The man hanged his head, declaring himself a failure for letting NNF escape and his counterpart be sent to the Negative World. Other than confronting the KND and Wally, Daddy has no idea where NNF would have gone and the portal had closed behind Father, so both Negative sides were stranded in the Positive one. The Delightful Children nearly lose their minds at the thought that Father was switched with such a cowardly man and end up being locked in the attic by the KND after they tried attacking Daddy to find out where Father had ended up. This reminds him about everything he found out about Father and how he had a mental breakdown over how cruel his other half was to the point he tried to fix everything the counterpart had done in the Positive World. Daddy fretted over what could be happening in the Negative World now that someone worse than NNF was among the healing society.
Sector V made the decision to unclog the sand from Numbuh Four's pool to try to reactivate that portal somehow to get to the other side to intercept Father while sending operatives to hunt down NNF before he could cause any damage to their world.
You know, the FUNNIEST thing about the Negative World is that everyone there is just a carbon copy of the ones from the Positive World. Same clothes and hair.
And then there's Daddy/Neb. No one else has color differences. It's all about how they act. Negative Numbuh Four just has a costume goatee slapped on, which isn't much of a change XD There are the Negative DC, but their pre-delightfulization designs were up for interpretation before Z.E.R.O.
I think if I go forward with writing anything from the Negative World, Neb is going to look more like Father with the attitude difference. It would make more sense then when he starts trying to undo Father's grip on everything and announces retirement.
I guess he was colored that way to show the difference between him and Mr. Wigglestein from Operation: A.R.C.H.I.V.E., but it still doesn't make much sense if they're supposed to be the same person.
I am surprised that they didn't let LaMarche try his hand at him instead of going with Bennett, but I'm not complaining XD Those two seemed to have been following me since childhood XD
