[🐎] — Time waited for no one. That thought had been sticking in her head lately, and had been the main motivator behind Georgia calling Neil up for a visit. For the last few holidays and events... White Day... her birthday... she had been too busy to go and actually visit him. Hell, he’d been too busy to see her. And, well, that was that. It was life. It was sad, and kind of painful, but she wasn’t going to freak at him about it.
No matter how much she tried to rationalize it as a result of their conflicting schedules, and living on different islands, she couldn’t actually make herself think that it was okay. Because... it wasn’t, was it? It wasn’t okay for things to stay like this between them. To care about each other so much, and yet not be together.
So, in a surprising turn of events, Georgia actually doesn’t prioritize her work for once, and asks Neil to come and see her. Even more surprisingly, he agrees. Maybe he wasn’t as busy as she thought, or maybe... he was of the same mind as she was.
They wanted to see each other, responsibilities be damned.
It was a far cry to how they were a year ago, when the LAST thing they both wanted was to have to stay in the same room as the other. It was crazy, how much could change in a year. How different people could become...
As she sits on her sofa waiting for him to arrive, she twirls the stem of an orange snapdragon between her fingers. Another stark reminder of a year ago. Neil, with his flower allergy, had gone through so much trouble to get a “hate” flower for her, and she should have realized then that something was up. Or maybe she did, and just didn’t want to acknowledge it at the time.
But in a way, it was the start of something... the start of a chapter in their story, and she thought she should honor that.
[ ♥ ] — Ah, the Flower Festival... what a wondrous time, filled with love and happy feelings! Flowers weren’t too high on Felicity’s list of interests (of course, that applied to just about anything that wasn’t food), but she could appreciate their beauty, and the heartfelt sentiments attached to them.
So before she heads out to her evening shift at the restaurant, Felicity stops by City Hall to buy some flowers for a few friends, paying a courier to deliver them for her. Hopefully everyone would enjoy their gifts~

How have you been? I’m not sure how you feel about flowers, but since you seemed to like the White Day rose so much, I figured you would enjoy this! The yellow color invokes bright, happy feelings, and that’s how I find myself feeling whenever I’m around you!
[🐎] — Thanks her sudden move and the short notice it caused, Georgia didn’t really have any time to get things ready--- not in the way she usually would have, anyway. Before their fight, she had all these plans for Valentine’s running around in her head. But now... Georgia didn’t care what was done, as long as she got to see Neil. And that he’d, hopefully, forgive her for being so stupid.
At the very least, she had managed to fix her hair a bit, and put on a dress. She also had a basket full of his favorite treats and foods, too. All of them being things she had been practicing to make over the last few months, because she wanted to surprise and impress him.
Now? Now, she just wanted to make him happy.
Georgia fidgets anxiously as she sits on her sofa, waiting for him to arrive. Momo was curled up next to her, purring against her leg, while Muku was off in a corner of the room, nipping at a dog toy. Roxie, having sensed Georgia’s anxiety, stood near the front door like a vigilant guard dog, poised to protect her master from any hurtful thing that may come her way.
At the sound of a knock, Roxie’s ears perk up, and she turns to Georgia expectantly. After letting her own moment of surprise pass --- with a still thunderously beating heart --- she jumps up from the sofa and rushes straight to the door, practically pulling it off its hinges when she opens it.
“Neil! I’m SO sorry, I---!” In her rush, she hadn’t really noticed his appearance, but once she does... her cheeks flush pink, and she can’t help but stop and stare in awe. He looked so different. Really handsome, too. Not that he wasn’t always handsome, but this was just...
[🐎] — For their next time out, Georgia only had one simple request: a tour of Leuda. While she may have been visiting the city a lot more frequently over the past year, there were still a lot of places on the island she didn’t know about. And it was so much bigger and busier than Arcadia that getting around was incredibly difficult for her without a guide.
With Soseki, Evelyn and Neil, she now had a reason to visit much more often, and Georgia didn’t want to have them always lead her by the hand every time she came! It was pathetic, and she was far too old to be babied like that.
...Though she guesses it wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to her, holding Neil’s hand.
Georgia casts a furtive glance over to him as she thinks this, only to pout when she sees his hand stuffed in his jacket pocket instead of hanging in the small space between them. Hmph. It would have been the perfect opening for her to at least brush her hand against his, but clearly it wasn’t meant to be.
With a light huff, she looks back ahead as they walk side-by-side through the streets of Leuda, her eyes wandering to all of the festive decorations lining the stores and restaurants. Not only was it Thanksgiving time, but Christmas would be soon too... it was about time for her to start thinking of gifts, huh?
“You have any plans for the holidays?” She asks him, figuring they could fill their walk to... wherever he was taking her... with some idle chat. Maybe she could even use the time to learn a little more about him too, since they rarely ever had the chance to spend time together like this.
Neil accidentally texts Felicity something meant for Georgia, Georgia overreacts, Neil doesn’t take it so seriously, and the two of them get into a fight. And as if things weren’t already perfect enough, this is a few days before Valentine’s. Great timing, huh?
Consider this a cautionary tale of miscommunication kills.
[🐎] — After kicking her own ass into gear and setting a plan in motion to try and get her man back, Georgia changes out of her pajamas into something more appropriate for the holiday. She wasn’t sure if he’d forgive her, and wouldn’t really blame him if he didn’t, but at least wanted to look presentable (or, cute) while she was pleading her case.
Thank the Gods for some of her friends’ insistence on buying her cutesy dresses. She wasn’t usually into them, but it would definitely prove useful for today. And, maybe, if everything worked out... they could have that date she was planning, too.
A special, intimate moment, for just the two of them alone.
