Short story behind the Nougat

Every material has a variety of qualities, some of which are entirely unique to it. When selecting a material to design with, often very little thought goes into which material(s) to use. This is somewhat surprising, considering that the varying qualities that all materials possess will naturally have an impact on the design process. But just how much of an impact can this really have?

The project „The Importance of the Obvious“ focus on how this dormant potential could be put to effective use. Special focus will be attributed to the role of food, which, although itself a material, requires entirely different and often unique or experimental preparation methods.
