Mictlanmas: False Santa Nexoxcho

Ok, pretty late but I now have artwork for Nexoxcho from my Mictlanmas storyline! The main antagonist behind all the problems in that story.

shes a foundling/ex-child employee of a gnomish crime guild from [SOMEWHERE ELSE]. was accompanying her boss [my original kc gnornelius thimble] on a trip to pick up something valuable from kenabres when all sorts of stuff went down.

you're in a totally fucked situation that feels completely out of control and it pisses you off. surely if you take hold of that rage and use it to propel yourself forward you'll get into a position where you have more control and then you'll be able to breathe easy. hey wait there's just more rage here

subjugate the demons and things will be fine again. ignore the fact that you don't want to be like that, lording power over others- because you have wenduag, and wenduag wants you to be like that. nobody else is happy with the way things are going. you tell woljif to embrace the demonic power because otherwise you'd be a hypocrite. he's not the same, after- so you can't confide in him about your worries and second thoughts. you don't allow yourself to have second thoughts.

she believes she never had a choice but to become a demon but then when given a choice what does she choose?

she and woljif are stuck in a feedback loop of enablement where neither can ever tap out. she tells him to accept the powers because otherwise her accepting powers was a bad idea. he tells her to stick with her powers because thats the person hes become. that shes made him into.

fully planning to kill herself to close the worldwound but when galfrey asks if shes planning on doing another demon invasion shes like "lol. lmao" and fails to elaborate further just bc she dislikes galfrey and wants her life to be worse

24 hours after the worldwound is destroyed every demon in drezen disappears. every demon under her command returns to the abyss. all of mendev is quiet and free. demons not under her command are quickly overwhelmed by crusader forces. the companions scatter- regill to his duty, daeran to his leisure, wenduag to the skies and woljif to the abyss. nenio goes wherever she pleases, as always. the crusades are over. plants grow. when rain falls, it is clear, fresh water.
