Agent 003 just wants to retire from all this secret agent business - satisfied with her work and ready to train the next generation... but halfway through her final meeting with her superior, 008's identity is compromised in the field leading to his murder, and 003 is the prime suspect. With no one on her side and the entire force of MI5 on her tail, she turns to the only agent loose enough to lend her a hand: The brash and compromised 006. She offers him a quid pro quo - help her get revenge on who's trying to frame her, and in return, she will help him find the missing Agent 777 - who 006 has spent the last 10 years searching for. The chase these two agents wind up on leads them to secrets that compromise the entirety of MI5, and causes them to rub elbows with the Cipher Institute, whom 006 has a long and complicated history with. Who is behind the security leak? Is revenge possible? Where could agent 777 possibly be? In the shadowy world of espionage, trust is in short supply, and 003 and 006 will have to figure out just how much to give to each other, or risk everything.
