I don't know if I've ever gone into this before but one way that Nell paid for nursing school in the 70s was that she did some modeling - and when @babyblankyerror posted This Comic for the Doctor Pinington AU and I immediately got inspired, then carried away - So have a silly crossover! Whelp, that's gonna be awkward....

Oh well! At least she can take it in stride! One can only hope Ford doesn't make it Weird™️

Speaking of getting carried away - enjoy some shots of Nell's modeling career - most of these poses and outfits were directly inspired by playboy and magazine photo shoots from the late 70s and early 80s. Nell is hot actually :3c

AT LAAAST This is done - The color study that has been the bane of my existence

I decided, on a whim, to do a colors study of "The Seasons: Summer" (1896) by Alphonse Mucha and oh boy was that a challenge - the colors he uses are so foreign to how I normally color, it was a real challenge to try to imitate it while using my own character and my own flourishes like Nell's tattoo or the gate. I'm happy I did this though - proud, even. Its not perfect, not one-for-one, but its DONE and I like it. That's what matters <3

If I ever do this again please assume that I have lost the plot lol

Was using Nell for pose practice, but once I finished this one and left it on the canvas it felt... Apropos, so to speak.

Particularly in certain AUs, Nell spends a lot of her life just kinda alone - sometimes though no fault of her own, sometimes self-imposed.

Makes you wonder if she's waiting for something...
