Year 1529 Part 1:

TW/CW: Death

In the very start of the new year, Jamila went into labor. She and Simon had been happily expecting the arrival of their new baby but as the hours drew long, she began to suspect something wasn’t right.

Still, the family was blessed with triplets, all girls, that were named Mary, Mabel and Maud. Mary and Mabel were born very weak though with triplets it was expected that their infancy would be difficult at first.

Except that Jamila’s suspicions were confirmed when she found herself drained of her energy and soon she collapsed leaving her husband and one of her sisters to discover her body.

Year 1535 Part 1:

The Watson-Bell home had a few changes by the start of the year. Jamila’s sister, Nene, got married and by the time she had moved in with her husband’s family she was already showing that she was with child making her nieces excited for a cousin though it was unlikely they’d see each other often considering the distance. Then once the family still living in Henford returned home it was time for the triplet’s birthday which was a joyous occasion for the household although, Chiyo had her own secret from some fun she had at a tavern after her twin’s wedding.

Larissa was approached by a woman in finely made clothes though the pants was a bit scandalous for a lady to wear without practical need in Larissa’s mind. The lady called herself Alexandra Huntington daughter of the Vatore family and that she had been looking for Vladislaus. Larissa didn’t have time to respond when she said she already knew he was dead and she was his daughter. Miss Huntington was no fool since the proof was plain as day on her face. She told Larissa that as a vampire she would have a place in the Forgotten Hollow. Larissa didn’t have to think hard about the offer. She had a family who lived in the sun, she wanted to be there for them. Alexandra said she understood but the offer would remain when the time came that she was willing to accept it.
