It is hard to threaten people when you forget to put the cat out. My OCs (Vex and Robert the cat) This has gotten shared in at least one Facebook cat group and I honestly love that so, so much. Very wholesome.

a neon future concept: the collective of london survivors being referred to as victorian vampires
the recent bazaar-mandated mr stones appreciation hour has reminded me that i never actually posted about my neon future bat NFT thoughts.
SO! stones is even more about hoarding than the rest of the masters, and some of its favourite tools are artificially inflated value and forced scarcity (see: diamond trade). so NFTs, which become valuable off the back of exclusively scarcity, cost incredibly little to create, and have no practical purpose, would appeal to it immensely.
it tries its claw with traditional NFTs for a while. some work, some don't (the masters are not really the wizards of economic literacy that their station might imply,) before stones comes up with an idea. a plot if you will. using the parabola-adjacent status of the network, stones creates a series of awful ugly bat NFTs (name pending) which inspire dreams of obsessive hoarding in the owner. the impulse is at first weak, and inspires you to buy a second ("in case you want to keep one when the value goes to the roof") but the stronger-willed (or particularly skint) are able to resist. once you have multiple, however, the compulsion quickly becomes irresistable.
this is all like. in the past relative to a neon future PC. i could see it playing out like a candlefinder's case, where after a murder of one of the remaining collectors by another, you have to find the common element between all of these deaths who have withered away in front of their computers after having sold all of their belongings in pursuit of bat NFTs. and then you trace it back to stones who has completely moved on and barely cares any more
thinking about Hiram and the Deviless in the neon future... beautiful gorgeous make-up influencer x shady casino owner. their vibes are so off
Hiram's look is more or less the same, he retains his classy vibe, with irrigo glasses instead of the monocle because at this point in the timeline the violant got Worse (but not for him!). He only grew his moustache during the 70s but kept it basic afterwards, he doesn't like to change his signature look. The red ribbon got tattered and ruined by lacre during the fall of the 6th city, so he wears red ties or scarves instead. His curls are a tad shorter to fit the modern businessman image.
The Deviless' style changes a lot every decade, it's so weird to draw her with a full lip contour instead of the 1920s ♡ shape, but that's the magic of make-up I suppose. Every beauty product she sponsors is super expensive, classy, and of course toxic af if applied continously or in high doses. But don't worry about that. Make-up Product perfec t for buy put make-up product on your face! very Soft and Comfort skin sleep soundly add Make-up Product to your skincare routine. no problems ever with make-up product because good Colours and Shapes for your face. Amakeup Product yes an addition to your face put make-up on face can trust make-up for giveing good look to face. natural makeup. Most importantly, put your signature on the purchase document 🐝
People always make the Kermit scrunch face when they see them together because that's A Grown Ass Man and a way younger woman hanging out in a casino but as soon as they look closer they're like "ah. that's a deviless." not knowing if that makes things better or worse. Some people recognise her from instagram while others know that Hiram is the casino owner. This still doesn't clarify if things are better or worse. Cue in The Gossip and Hiram's usual scandal buildup.
The casino employees have a few bets going on regarding Hiram's true eye colour (no one ever saw him without glasses), and the nature of his relationship with the Deviless.
There are free beauty products samples in the VIP lounges, plus the Deviless makes sure to tag and link the place in her stories. All the employees follow her on instagram hoping to see a picture of Hiram without glasses.
Ok but something I've been kinda wondering is what eras would Fallen Paris occupy? Because the Fifth City, London, is in the Victorian era, and the Seventh City, Berlin, is our modern day sci-fi dystopia. Like that's a pretty big gap in time between them and I’m wondering when the transition is lol.
_th City kids just don’t get it.
Blade runner
they should make some sort of FL-type neon future simulator . everyone has been saying this
