So today was our last full day here in Tikapur. Tomorrow we head out for Nepalganj, where we will be doing ministry for a week before going back to Kathmandu. Our time here in Tikapur has been really amazing. I have loved getting to spend time with the kids and it's been quite the adventure trying to teach English at 4 different schools when we did not come prepared to teach at all! JUST SO YOU KNOW, it's especially difficult when you don't have a translator and the only things you know how to say in Nepali are, "I don't know", "it's raining", "thank you", and "it's a cow!" Oh the struggle. Almost every night we had the opportunity to go to a different house church and share the gospel. In doing that, 15 people have come to know Jesus and I know that many more seeds have been planted. It's been awesome allowing God to use me and my story to speak His glory. He's really helped me grow in boldness and step out in trusting that He will give me the words to say. We have also seen a few healings, praise Jesus!
I just can't get over how amazing the people are. They are so loving and hospitable and generous. My mind has just been blown by how much they have blessed us and served us. We came here thinking that we were here just to serve these people and show them love and it really surprised me how much they went out of their way to serve us and help us in any way that they could. They have been such a blessing to us and I am truly going to miss them.
Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and support. It means so much to me and to my team. Please continue praying for us and for Nepal.
Also Cylas, one of our translators, says hello and thank you for your support and he sends his love!
