Etsy continues to make it real easy to spend money.
So I bought these cool shirts at Hot Topic because I Have Money Now.
Incidentally when you exchange clothing at Hot Topic, part of the process is that you write down your reason for returning it.
See, instead of that white one, I had originally bought a grey one that had more characters on it. And there was a certain character I didn't notice because I'm not some goblin who unfolds the T-Shirts that are all neatly stacked. So I buy it and leave the store, open out the shirt... And match right back in to trade it in.
And I had to write "I hate Mineta" on a piece of paper that I also literally signed.
New Nerd Swag! “Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years” gold holographic poster
Look how pretty it is!!! I couldn’t resist swiping one of these on ebay, okay? If those listings are to be believed, these were a limited print run for California movie theaters showing the full marathons (phew) and some Disney/Marvel employees. (Maybe more will show up for SDCC, though?) I wanted one of these posters as soon as I saw the neat design with so many favorite MCU characters included, and I was sold at “holographic!” These photos show the rainbow effects with and without flash. Heart eyes!
Also, those are magnets holding the poster up! I wanted to hang the poster on my office door without taping (to avoid damaging the back of the poster), frames (since the poster is an odd size), or putting any nails in the door. SO, I ended up getting some adhesive metal plates, sticking four of those to the door, and then using magnets to hold the poster up. I’m really happy with it, and as a bonus, it was super easy to shift the poster a little after I first put it up ... which is pretty perfect for me since I suck at hanging art. :)
I ate your puny god.
