D&D Witch: Bards

Bards are some of the oldest professions in the world as they were the ones who passed stories and songs down in time. Stories are magic and music is as well. There is a common misconception of them in D&D as the seduce everything when in actuality it is a minor part. They are personally the most versatile. 

 Bards are usually extroverted in nature though some maybe ambiverts as well. They are usually full of energy and life and you never seem to have a bad time around them. They are really charismatic in personality and you are usually drawn into their conversations. They can usually play an instrument of some sort. Yes Singing counts as an instrument in my opinion. They usually wear bright or deep jewel tone colors like blues, purples, yellows and greens. They are also the friend people go to talk about their problems with.

Cover & opening page of my grimoire. Finally got around to starting this. Most of my stuff is in various notebooks/files/wherever, and this book is for my compilation of “finished” bits. So definitely filling it will be a slow process.

The runes are Old English Futhorc, which I personally gravitate towards more than some of the older variants.

The variant of vegvísir I used is from the game Skyrim, because I am a big proponent of incorporating stuff I love and am passionate about into my craft - and gaming is a big part of that for me.

I may decide to add some watercolor to this to spice it up a bit later. Who knows.

So I just want to thank @mihaelkeehl for the amazing Christmas gift. Persona is one of my favorite video game series and I've been dying for this deck for ages, even before I started practicing. I apologize for the photo it doesn't do the deck justice. The mask is the back of the cards and these are some of my favorite of the major arcana cards. I think the magician is my over all favorite. Just like in the game it seems to be in tune with emotions.

I was going to write some mushy stuff here but I dont want to embarrass either of us or share to much so I'm just going to leave it as you're the best and I'm so glad I reviewed one of your fics back in the day. I swear our friendship is one of the only good things to come from ffn

Nerdy Witch/Pop Culture Witch Tips

-If you cosplay, give a cosplay of a character that is relevant to your deity’s domains as an offering. For example, if fire is a major symbol for your deity, you could cosplay as a fire-themed character and do it for them. They will love your hard work and you’ll love cosplaying that character even more!

-Write a fanfic pertaining to one of your deity’s domains and give it as an offering. For example, if you worship a deity of healing, write a fanfic about your favourite character helping your other favourite character out while their wounded. It doesn’t have to be fancy; they’ll love it, trust me.

-Or even, if you worship a literature-themed deity, your fanfics will make great offerings to them!

-Make food/drinks themed after your favourite anime, cartoon, or movie and offer it to your deity, if food is considered a good offering. They will love the effort.

-Do you play Dungeons and Dragons? Write a campaign you know your deity/deities would like.

-Draw your deity as you imagine them in your favourite series.

-Put a glamour on your cosplays to give it an extra kick.

-Stitch or paint sigils into your cosplays as you make them. You can make them as obvious or inconspicuous as you want. You can draw you sigils with paint and them cover them up with more paint to charge.

-Or symbols that pertain to your deity.

-Make a cloth themed after your favourite character for your Tarot cards. Similarly, make a themed bag for your stones, herbs, or anything else you carry around.
