Gotta share my older work
This is the Bretonnian Sacred Field Trebuchet I painted about two years ago now. Really one of my heavy hitters in the portfolio of minis I've done. It was honestly a blast and I recall a lot of the work I did along the way.
The crew is comprised of like a kid with a slingshot on a cart they use to move cathedral debris to fire, a leper with tons of boils that he's wrapped up, and the manager boss man with a dog that holds the blueprint to build one of these in the field.
The support beams feature two reliquiries of a knight and damsel each. Painting those was tough since I assembled all of it at once, but it paid dividends. Really a treat to look closely at it again and again to find all the details.
It's funny that the mold for these was so damaged from 20 years of neglect. They had to resculpt it at GW to produce them again. I recall that this particular one was an OOP kit that I had purchased off Ebay before the Old World got released to try and get started early. Man, the detail on each tiny nail and wood grain still holds up.
