a summary of what i’ve learned about zatari’s brokenbank contact and young zatari:
the contact is her old childhood friend kalleth. she hasn’t seen kal in a long time — long enough that kal doesn’t know what happened to zatari (in the empire)
zatari’s name was reaper, but it’s zatari now since the empire thing
zatari wishes nereith would have stayed, because nereith reminded her of her younger self, the street kid in shadycreek run
her safe haven then was an old church’s loft, where some kindly priest let her stay
zatari learned to fly when she was pushed off by a former friend jumped off a tall building. broke her arm doing so, but it worked
that was one of zatari’s favorite parts of her life. when zatari was “away” all zatari wanted to do was fly.
she’s still processing the trauma, but since meeting the group she’s felt time has been treating her well :)
