How does one ??? Make such a good blog ??? Like this one ??? Is it the art talent you have ??? Because fuck if it is -- I can't do that shit but just ???? What is your secret to being amazing ??????? How does one make their guardians kick-ass and cool like yours ????? asking for a friend

I appreciate the compliments! It’s a mix of hard work and luck. But to answer your questions--

Art - Four to five years of depression brought on by the realization of being in a program I didn’t want to be in, making me to constantly draw as an escape. (Essentially it boils down to draw a lot and you’ll improve over time)

Blog - I ran an RP blog for like five years before getting into Destiny so I have some experience.

Guardians - It started with Myss, and I contribute the birth of that to @warcrymidori, who kind of prompted me to think of how our Guardians met, and it just... stemmed from there. Got kind of out of hand, actually. Looking at the lore, the events in game, themes already present etc. It all kind of came together.

i entered the fandom in 2011 and kinda stopped paying as much attention in 2015, when posts started floating around about people romanticizing certain recent events and i was Not A Fan of that mindset to say the least

but needless to say, i’m still trash and kind of always will me. once a fan, always a fan

Oh solidarity reasons are totally valid

I’m just afraid that people treating gluten free as a diet will lead to assholes tricking Celiacs into eating gluten like how ppl will give diabetics standard sodas under the assumption that they’re on a silly diet

In fact I’ve already seen this mindset being reflected in media even if that media essentially boils down to a trashy glorified commercial

This is the scenario: Character A is prepping for a party, and character B, one of the guests, asks A if she can make sure that banana pancakes are available. She assumes that means regular pancakes w/ bananas on them and later on B asks again ”were you able to fix the banana pancakes? I have Celiac so I can’t eat gluten”

A then goes to character C, the host of the party, and asks what she should do to fix her mistake, to which C says ’it’s okay, she doesn’t have Celiac, she ”has Celiac”’ and then A and C Bond over how needing restrictions on your diet makes you a special snowflake or something (somebody throw in the boomer cartoon with the trick or treaters asking for allergy free candy lol)

I don’t even have Celiac and watching that made me uneasy because it kind of implies people actually think like this or at the very least that the creators don’t see anything wrong with that mindset
