My good friend Busuu (Busuu App my beloved) has been enthusiastically teaching me how to say mean things to and about people. I thought I'd collect some of the vocabulary here in case it's of interest to anyone else.
nervig - irritating blöd - stupid langweilig - boring unsympathisch - unlikeable etepetete - (colloq.) persnickety, picky, finicky, hoity-toity die Labertasche - (colloq.) motormouth, chatterbox die Nervensäge - nag, pain in the neck, literally nerve-saw die Spaßbremse - killjoy, buzzkill, lit. fun-brake der Klugscheißer - (colloq.) smart ass, know-it-all, literally clever shitter der Korinthenkacker - (colloq.) nit-picker, fusspot, lit. raisin pooper Hast du Tomaten auf den Augen? - (colloq.) Are you blind?, lit. do you have tomatoes on your eyes? Hast du einen Vogel? - (colloq.) are you crazy?, lit. do you have a bird? Bei dir piept's wohl! - (colloq.) you must be crazy, lit. there's something chirping in you Er hat eine Meise - (colloq.) he's crazy, lit. he has a titmouse
...and if after all that you think it's a bit too much you can say Das ist ein dicker Hund! - (colloq.) That's a bit much
