Of course, can't have a siren OC and NOT make any Mermay art, so here's a new piece of Nessa (doing that one Chelsea pose from Ruby Gillman) that I really like which doubles as shading practice. I don't think I'll be doing anything else for this month, but I do think I should at least post something.

And yes, Nessa's tail glows in the dark! She be bioluminescent af :3

Am I late to the party?

If I am... then eh, whatever. As I go through this I can see that my style's changed a lot (making improvements, figuring stuff out here and there, as well as finally making my own fancy watermark), and... well, I'm proud of that. And while there's some art pieces I'd rather forget on here, at least I can say I drew something this year. And that alone is something I'm happy for.

Here's hoping some more fun art happen in the new year after the holidays.

This is merely a self-indulgent version of the actual project I made that I'll be making public. Mostly because I like this more, and plus it's a good thing to remind yourself all the time whenever someone pisses on your dreams and goals in life.

I got bored and drew Nessa making that one face Charlie makes in episode one of Hazbin hotel. It seemed funny at the time, and plus Charlie is one of Nessa's inspos. So it made sense a bit, too.

They and the people from their world don't actually don't celebrate Christmas like we do, they in fact have a different tradition altogether called 'Frostcoming'! It's better explained over on my RP blog with them, but it's essentially like Christmas and Hanukkah rolled into one.

This is very last-minute stuff as you can tell, but I'm just glad I got it out.
