Mourning the Loss of Our Family Car 💔💔💔💔
She was a used 2008 Toyota RAV4, and gave it all till the end. She definitely went with her “boot straps” on tight while DoorDashing. It was a heat that done her in. 😔 Being our only vehicle in a rural West Texas town, personal transportation is essential. *sigh* Its taking everything in me to not freak out. It has been through talking with God in prayer that’s keeping me steady. The practice odds like bleak due to very low finances and the reality that we’d get more from selling the car for parts than trying to fix her. 😭 I humbly ask for your sincere prayers for my family and myself. As a Christ-following family, we know the Lord will continue to care and provide to our needs. It’s of course, a great challenge to Trust God with every part of our lives because it goes completely against our human nature to be in control. It’ll be a struggle till we’re called home to be with Jesus, but the burden will become lighter as we learn to draw even close to God. 😌 A car is replaceable and anything is possible in Jesus name!
