And here’s my third favorite Leviathan (with Mizu and Almu above it) - Royal Ludroth (HD and no osteoderm versions are here). Still not fully confident in skull, but overall very happy with the result. Definitely like how, just like any monster, it keeps some cartoony proportions. Hopefully that never changes in their design philosophy

Super Sappy NEST Post coming in 3…

I really didn’t think I’d be making this post. Because here’s the thing, I wasn’t even going to NEST originally. I’m in a really busy and stress time of my life with work right now, and with all the busyness, I didn’t think I’d manage a trip out to Philly. But, knowing my friends were going, I got inspired and I had such a good time at AUNT, that I decided to pull the trigger. It wasn’t as long as I would’ve wanted and I wish I got to spend more time with people, but I feel that I made the best of my trip, and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting everyone again, old and new faces alike!

Physically and mentally, I feel an array of things. As I type this, I am a bit under the weather and mentally I do feel sad and depressed that it’s all over so soon. I definitely had my emotions playlist on full blast in the train rides back home. But at the same time, I feel so glad and grateful to be a part of something that stupid teenage me would’ve never imagined. And I owe so many people my thanks and gratitude for allowing me to share the space with them and for taking me in.

So with that said, here are some honorable mentions.

@happydayz101: I know we didn’t get to spend too much time together this time around, but I still wanted you to know I was so grateful to see you and I really hope we cross paths again soon rather than later! I will have to type out an IOU for a foot rub and lots more at a future date haha. But you’re lovely and it’s always a pleasure! 💜

@knotyoursoftkore: I really hope I made you proud after being a newbie at AUNT and taking the next big step into the crazy world of NEST! I appreciate you always being so supportive and even motherly towards me, and it’s people like you that made me feel so comfortable interacting with the community and putting myself out there! I also have to thank you for letting me rub your feet the night before I left. I was really feeling the blues Sunday night and that helped me to end the whole weekend on a good note. Let’s make plans to hang out again soon! 💜

@awkweirdtato: FRENNN I OWE YOU SO MANY THANKS AND HUGS!! I was really bummed that I wasn’t able to book a room at the hotel and financially, I was a bit concerned about making the trip work. But you helped me so much by helping with transportation and letting me stay with you for a night, I really am so grateful for all you did for me! So thank you for stepping up to the plate and being so amazing always. You were a big support system for me too, and I haven’t forgotten our fun play sesh haha. I hope to see you again soon!! 💜

@nixxiesoles: After following your pages for so long and getting to know you as a person, it feels so surreal that I finally got to meet you in person! You are a gorgeous, beautiful person and I wish we got to spend more time together, but I had so much fun hanging out with you! I love that we have mutual friends, and one of the biggest highlights for me the entire weekend was getting to rub you and Lux’s feet at the same time. That was a major fantasy of mine and the fact I got to live it out with two of my absolute favorite foot babes was the absolute best thing I could ask for. I’m so down to visit Philly or NJ sometime so we can hang out again, but until then, I appreciate you hun and do not be a stranger! 💜

And last but not least, @theminipotat: 🥺 Bestie…I don’t even know how to begin this portion of the post, because there is so much I want to say and express to you. But I am so unbelievably happy that you are in my life and I am honored to call you one of my best friends. I’ve told you so much that you’ve been such a bright light for me these last several months, and I don’t take that lightly at all. It’s been such a pleasure to get to know you at both gatherings I’ve been to. You are an absolutely beautiful soul, so sweet, kind, funny, and just an absolute joy to be around! I am so proud you made it through the weekend despite the struggles leading up to it, and I loved spending every second I could with you! Not to mention I love being your #1 footboy and I will cherish that forever. I love you dearly, and WE HAVE to make plans to hang out soon! 💜💜

To everyone else I saw and got to hang out with, thank you for giving me great company throughout the weekend and if any NEST staff happens to see this, thank you for having me and for all the hard work that goes into this! It’s a bit shameless to link this, but without it I won’t be able to properly describe why it’s such a cool detail. If there is one non-gameplay feature of Stories 3 that is both unnecessary and essential that I can call my favorite it’s this little animation. It’s hard to get them consistently but they still show the bond between rider and monsties and even demonstrate cuter side of some “tough” monsters like Deviljho, Brachy or Arkveld

Was preparing for yet another Celestial Serpents hunt (as evident by my team) and noticed that Malzeno wasn’t enthusiastic about it (or too enthusiastic depending on how you look at it)

Went back to checking moves (now with proper brightness settings) since I’m mostly done with Uni for this year. And look! Unlike in Stories 2 there’re animations (strong roar) which allow Anjanath to spread its wings! Maybe for a brief moment but that’s still a cool improvement

Yes, I’m crying. Was crying ever since point of no return. And love every second of it. Definitely the best Stories, best MH story and my GOTY. Onto the end-game while waiting for TU’s. Already got myself 6 Elder Dominance donors, hehe

You know, to this day my most bizarre interaction with MH community has to be that one clip from 2022. Originally I saved it because it was funny that you can be punished for a part break (yes, I didn’t know this was a thing Glavenus can do. Though, not surprising given many monsters damaging/causing tremors after death). Shortly after that the whole Deviljho tail thing started. And some time in 2023 on a non-MH server (there was just MH channel) someone claimed that Glavenus severed tail damaging you must be another Wiki lie/Mandela effect which made me remember that clip and post it just in this channel. That’s it. This happened to me many times in GU since then (mostly with Hellblade) and I completely forgot about this whole thing. Fast forward to 2025. I’m watching TCS video on random monster facts. And out of nowhere there’s this exact clip with “author unknown”. And to this day I wonder what exactly happened in-between these two events. Not complaining, though

And here’s a finished drawing of The Absorbed One - episodic yet very important creature from a story I’ve been working on for several (12) years now (but my dialogues suck so it will likely never see the light of day). The creature that starts the whole story and serves as a tool to explain lore behind Eternal organism. Since it’s just a concept that’s less of a full render and more of a reference for future. So shading is minimal. Still not fully happy with how I work with color so glowing parts are only partially done with a handmade gradient. But overall I think this perfectly captures the creature I imagined in my head

Btw, that was initial sketch and I honestly feel that I was able to properly develop it into something better
