NEST 2019

Man, where do I begin?...

Let me start by saying how much I love @toadallytickles and @clayticklish for being such wonderful roomies this weekend. We shared many, MANY laughs together and the best cuddles in the world. I am forever greatful that I got to meet and spend time with these two because they are truly quality humans 💕💕

NEST was easily the best weekend I had ever had. I got to meet and play with so many awesome, loving people in a safe space where I could be myself and just let go. I’ve never felt more sexually and socially liberated in my life up until now. This was a weekend of many firsts for me (some more NSFW than others 😏) and I can safely say that I have zero regrets.

If you have been thinking about going to NEST, I highly recommend it. I would be cautious if you choose to make this your first event though, as this is the biggest one of them all within the tickling community. Being around SO MANY people doing things that you’re probably not used to seeing can get overwhelming at times. I burst into tears Friday night because there was just so much going on, but I was fortunate enough to be around great people who could help me through it. The key to any event, especially NEST, is to have a group of friends that you can always turn to and they will have your back.

CLAY AND I HAVE MADE IT HOME TO THE CANADIA LANDS AND ILL MAKE A WHOLE LONG POST ON MY NEST EXPERIENCE WHEN I GET TIME SO FOR NOW ILL JUST SAY IT WAS AMAZING AND SO SO SOOOO MUCH FUN ITS LITERALLY LIKE A CLUBHOUSE / ‘BIG BROTHER’ / ‘ARE YOU THE ONE’ TICKLE HOUSE PARTY AND YEAH IM SO EXCITED FOR FUTURE NEST GATHERINGS AND FOR A LOT MORE OF THE TUMBLR COMMUNITY GOING!!

Found my NEST name tag thing once I unpacked! Not a whole lot of people knew that I went to NEST for the first time a few days ago. Was SUUUPER great and I definitely wanna return next year! Met some really cool people, including a few from tumblr. Also had my first real tickle session and it was AMAZING!

What was your favorite part of Nest?

Oh my gosh okay~ I have two favourites parts!

I really enjoyed being ganged tickled by 5 boys~ That’s always been a fantasy of mine and I love attention~ (〃▽〃ʃƪ)*:・ﾟ✧♡ And they were so sweet and kind and understanding and reassuring~ And they dragged ice cubes all over my body!! AND THEY DOGPILED ME AT THE END AND U N F I LOVED IT! 👌😫

Then on the last day in the evening, I wore my school girl outfit and I was really really embarrassed to wear it out publicly, and Clay was really encouraging about it and I did it but UGH I WAS SO SHY ASDFGJKL. Though people loved it and that just made me more flustered and shy Uughnndff and yeah Clay and I were on the couches in the main room doing light tickles as our friends sat around and talked~ And I got to do my silly voices and make everyone laugh~ I was really proud of myself that night! NEST is the place where you can wear what you want and be 100% yourself! That’s what I’m going to miss most about NEST; is how freeing and safe it was to be who you are.

I was curious, if you're happy to answer regarding NEST, did you have many sessions with new people/ random attendees etc? Was there a room where you could introduce yourself and chat first or was it very up front or maybe public/ private if there's any details you shouldn't tell that's fine I'm just super interested as to how it all goes on??

I’m very happy to answer asks about NEST! I had about six sessions total during the NEST weekend, and five of those were with new people, either separately (2) or mixed with people I knew (3)! So NEST is in a hotel, and we had the big conference room as the main play area + lounge area as it had dividing walls. The games and seating for lunch were held here too. How I described NEST was that is is like a “Big Brother” Tickle House because you can just do as you want. Either you could play with the public equipment or watch (with permission from the players) on one side of the room, or do some casual tickling or just even hang out on the other side (that had this awesome tent/blanket fort, which is where I hung out a lot~) or in the lobby, or your hotel room, or another person’s hotel room, or outside, or the bar, or anywhere where there’s couches/seating. There were hourly games and workshops so you can go to those, or take off and have a session or hang out somewhere else. The first day had mandatory orientation, and then ice breaker games, so you can introduce yourself there or really anytime during the whole weekend! 

Everyone new I played with were super nice and sweet! There was introductions and talk before any scenes/sessions! I do like having a close friendship before playing, though it was NEST and I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and experience! So I did! Though you don’t have to go to NEST to play. Everyone goes for different reasons! And yes, there are people who don’t play at all during NEST! You can just go to make new friends and/or learn from the workshops!

What was the most awkward part of Nest?

This wasn’t awkward at all to me, but as a heads up for newbies and/or those who are shy with tickling (like the word being said, tickling happening, etc.) THERE’S TICKLING E V E R Y W H E R E ! So it may be awkward for you! I thought I’d be too embarrassed about it, but I was surprisingly very okay with it! :)

I think the most awkward thing at NEST though is when people get rejected, like they ask if you’d like to play with them, or tickle you, or even just for a hug, and it’s VERY ENCOURAGED to say “no” and stand up for yourself- but ugh yeah.. I always feel that.. second-hand embarrassment. And yeah, you will come across those people you don’t vibe with or connect right away with.

Unfortunately I’m not good at saying “no” and standing up for myself, and this was the first day too.. after orientation WHICH IS MANDATORY, and they repeat over and over “ASK BEFORE YOU TOUCH SOMEONE” and I was talking to this one guy and he didn’t ask at all.. he went for an unexpected side squeeze and would not stop “playfully” slapping my arm (which is actually triggering for me), and yeah I suck, I know I should have said something, I really wish I did, but ugh I get so scared- so that wasn’t awkward, but it sucked.
