Hunter 4.14 & 4.15

Satisfying, enjoyable, two-hour murder mystery.

The solution at the end is pleasantly simple. There was a heck of a lot of red herrings and suspicious people in this story, and you were never sure where it was going.

This was especially true in the first half-hour when there were a lot of scenes at the murder scene that (ultimately) led nowhere (story-wise) but were enjoyable to watch. Character-driven scenes, basically, showing Hunter confronting some other cops he had legitimate problems with.

The murder victim was a movie star, and a lot of the investigation was focused on that world, and the various people who had a financial stake in her life/death. Her mysterious past was also relevant.

As well as false trails, there was plenty of action and even a few more murders (including one of the cops working on the case with Hunter).

After a slow start, this soon became engrossing and fast-paced as it jumpted from character to character to character.
