📽️ Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

I was a little hesitant to watch this, but I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. It was strange and crazy but in a good way. I really liked the characters, too, and their arcs. It was funny, but it was also serious when it needed to be. I once taught a student who had a bipolar disorder, and this movie was a pretty accurate portrayal of what that student dealt with. The only drawback was the amount of cursing, but if you don’t mind that, then this is a good movie with some great lessons.

Sex/nudity: 4/10 (quite a bit of sexual conversation with some detail, kissing/making out, some skimpy female outfits, glimpse of female breasts and buttocks)

Language: 8/10 (a LOT of f words, a fair amount of other cursing as well)

Violence: 3/10 (fairly brutal fights shown, some blood, bruises, etc)

Overall rating: 7/10
