You know one thing people should stop doing online? Accusing random strangers of being child predators online without any credible evidence just because they voice an opinion that you don't like or agree with, even if it has nothing to do with actual children being involved.

It is so annoying being called a pedo constantly in the Facebook comments. It's often for stupid reasons like supporting LGBTQ rights, being a LGBTQ furry, or not being comfortable with cartoons that sexualize minors.

What's super awful is that I am survivor of child abuse. Adults have done very bad things to me when I was a child. I don't want anything to do with children but I don't want them harmed either because of how I felt. Kids throwing tantrums or babies crying actually trigger me as an autistic person with C-PTSD.

Normalize respecting people online! Not false accusations!

Also, adults can wear diapers and many people with disabilities and the elderly wear diapers. Babies aren't the only ones allowed to wear diapers but they are most famous for openly wearing them. It's not wrong for adults to wear diapers, please do not shame adults who wear diapers(yeah! The last part was very random. But if you know you know.).

Let's Make 2k15 the Year We Don't Embarass Our Favourites

PLEASE DON'T: "Is [insert ship] canon? Do you ship it? Will they kiss?"

CONSIDER: "Do you know if the show has any plans for queer representation?"

PLEASE DON'T: "Is [insert character] [insert sexuality]?"

CONSIDER: "How do you interpret [insert character]'s sexuality?"

Please, don't force your interpretation on them. If you're really interested in their opinion, allow them the freedom to speak their heart.

If the point of your question is to call attention to the need of queer representation in current media, see above.

It's advisible to contact the producers and/or showrunners on such issues. The actors are usually not part of the decision making process.

PLEASE DON'T: "Whatever you do, you'll always be my [insert most famous role]!"

What you're basically saying is "I don't give a fuck about your career and I'll disregard it entirely."

CONSIDER: "I really loved you as [insert most famous role here], I'm sure you're going to be awesome in [upcoming role]"

PLEASE DON'T: "You're the worst I hate your face how dare you!!"

NOTE: While on tumblr, it's a way to express attachement, it's confusing to someone not familiar with the site, and will be interpreted as hate.

PLEASE DON'T: "Please have my babies my ovaries are exploding"

CONSIDER: "You look great in this [video/movie/series/picture]"

Let's stop the sexual harassement of celebrities. Your blog is your blog, but such comments on instagram/facebook/twitter is harassing.

ON SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, PLEASE: react to the content they're sharing. Please, don't make it about you. It's their twitter/tumblr/facebook. Make your comment relevant. Show that you care.

IF A WHITE ACTOR IS CAST AS A POC CHARACTER: contact the showrunners/producers, and don't send hate to the actor. Express your disappointment. Don't make death threats, don't swear; you won't be taken seriously, and the issue deserves attention.

IF THE [INSERT FRANCHISE] IS PROBLEMATIC: contact the one's responsible for it. The actor has probably nothing to do with it.
